You are already enough.

Our work will connect you with your own inner resources, strengths, and values.

I believe that all people are inherently resourceful. My hope is to work collaboratively with you to uncover your preferred qualities so you can live the life you desire. I provide a warm, yet direct environment where curiosity and deepened self-knowledge can flourish.

I utilize a strength-based approach to therapy so we can build on what’s already working well in your life. I also work relationally and somatically, which means that during our time together in session we will be paying attention to what surfaces in the moment and in the body.

I specialize in relationships, couple and family dynamics, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, communication, co-dependency, gender, sexuality, body image, career transitions, life transitions, and enhancing well-being.

I am especially drawn to working with:

  • couples navigating communication differences, exploring sexual preferences and connection, building intimacy and emotional closeness, creating a shared vision for the future, and finding footing between togetherness & separateness

  • individuals negotiating depression & anxiety, sexuality & gender, and creatives dealing with issues like rejection or work-life balance

My Approach

My work is grounded in narrative therapy, a stance that views people as experts in their own lives. Narrative therapy assumes you are not the problem. Instead, we examine your relationship with external problems, keeping in mind the social, familial, and cultural contexts that have a role in how we all relate to the world.

I also utilize relational and somatic interventions to investigate feelings and sensations that show up in our time together. I use dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tools, mindfulness techniques, and provide psychoeducation on attachment-based and trauma-informed theories depending on your individual needs.

I specialize in sex therapy to assist the couples and indiviudals I see, and am currently working towards my sex therapist certification with American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).

Feminist, LGBTQ-affirmative, and social justice lenses also greatly influence the way I think about my work.
